ABILENE VORTAC - ABI
V-22, please don't crash on me
The ABI VORTAC isn't anything special. But it is easily visible from the road. Too many people from my graduating class went to ACU. Also a V-22 went over me while I stopped to admire my precious NAVAID. I am glad it didn't crash on me. But it wouldn't because we aren't in Japan. Also, the armed forces seem to be doubling down on tiltrotor designs so I shouldn't dog on them too hard.
